On December 3rd 2021, Vision Australia Radio went live with a special broadcast for the 2021 Victorian Disability Sport and Recreation Festival, presented by Disability Sport & Recreation. The broadcast was sponsored by City of Melbourne.

In this interview highlight from the day, Vision Australia Radio presenter Sam Rickard speaks to Australian Paralympic athlete Sam Harding. Sam Harding recently represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, his second Games. Sam Rickard is also a former Paralympic athlete having competed in four successive Paralympic Games from 1988 to 2000.
