Desiree Klemm-Kafel (she/her/hers) serves as the Assistant Director of Disability Services at North Carolina State University. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and a Master of Human Relations and Master of Arts with an Emphasis in International Relations from the University of Oklahoma.
Desiree has nearly a decade of experience in a number of professional settings that include legal, humanitarian and services for students with disabilities. She has worked with military families in the service and armed forces division of the American Red Cross as well as served as the coordinator of Student Accessibility Resources at Gulf Coast State College. Most recently, Desiree worked for North Carolina Central University as the Assistant Director of Student Accessibility Services.
