Teal Sherer left a really nice comment on Kim Evey's facebook post of our interview (http://theenthusiasmenthusiast.com/2016/05/25/the-road-to-motherhood-with-kim-evey/). I didn't know who Teal was, but I like compliments, so I looked at her page. Well, it turns out she's a really talented, funny, and passionate actor. She's a wife and a mom. She's in a wheelchair. I've been wanting to explore the discussion of people with disabilities in the media for a while and here was a woman producing her own show about it called My Gimpy Life (https://www.youtube.com/c/mygimpylifeshow)! So, we skyped from her home in Nashville to talk about everything from the weird stuff people say to those with disabilities and how breastfeeding classes for expecting moms are kinda b.s.
