Disabled issues are very much civil rights issues and are vital for our future and survival in America. Whether the issue is health care, employment, housing, benefits, or education, there are disabled individuals right that the forefront of the issue. Disabled Individuals make up 1/4 of this country but our voices are often muted and glossed over by other social issues. We do not deserve a lower quality of life because we are disabled and this country treats disability just as that. 2020 is exposing the broke systems in this country, I hope you all begin to become aware of the largest minority and marginalized group in this country, the disabled community. Disabled issues are social issues. We deserve to be fought for.
