Madeleine McCann suddenly disappeared on the night of May 3rd, 2007 at the tender age of three. On vacation with her parents Kate and Gerry, along with her twin siblings and other family friends in Portugal, the McCanns had gone to a nearby restaurant that was 55 meters away from their holiday apartment where the children had been tucked away in bed. As the night progressed, the McCanns would intermittently check up on their children until Kate realized Madeleine was no longer in the apartment.
