I mention X220T, as Both Models Are Very Closely Related /Of Similar Design.

Whether The Task Is Changing Hardware, Cleaning, Or Any Other Task Requiring Taking Apart One Of These Beloved Thinkpad Models.

Personally, I find X230T among my favorite of all computer models ever made. The one on video is one I bought for myself, and I'd like to share tips / tutorial for disassembling it, to help others.

This model is more challenging than similar era thinkpad models to repaste the CPU, partly as the heatsink is upside down, under the motherboard.

This means we have to take the entire thing apart today - and hopefully benefit other X230T / X220T tablet laptop convertible owners in the process.

Thinkpads of this era were truly built to last. Even over 10 years later, my thinkpads are still running very strong, and up to every task from word processing, compiling, watching videos, even editing and rendering video content on this channel.

All done from similar build of Thinkpad of this era - using the same exact i5-3320M CPU as this X230T carries.
