Preparing for and managing disaster has been considered the role of government. However years of catastrophic disasters, civil unrest and cyberattacks on critical infrastructure. It is clear that the private sector has a substantial role in emergency preparedness. The private sector at the same time are potential victims of disaster, and providers of resources that are urgently needed during disaster conditions, employers are as important to emergency management as government agencies.
