DISCERNING THE SEASONS Friday 11th February 2022
Luke 5:17-18 And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.
An aggressive attitude is what God loves. That's why you ought to reach out in faith every time you are in the presence of God to partake of His grace (power). Mathew 11:12
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.”
Spiritual activities follow cycles that when you miss a particular cycle, you get zero results.
That's why you ought to synchronize your works with the calendar of heaven through discernment to maximize and get results in whatever you do.
Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
You can not use your wisdom and expect results. Discern and do it God's way.
Genesis 18:1-2 Then the Lord appeared to him.....o he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the ground
These men looked ordinary but had a uniqueness. Their visitation led to the opening of Sara's womb.
There are diverse ways through which God can appear to us. Our assignment is to discern.
Numbers 22:21,23 Balaam rose in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab. Now the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.
The donkey saw the angel but Balaam didn't.
We sometimes find ourselves in pain and predicament because we didn't see properly.
The Pharisees missed out because they expected Jesus to appear in form of fire or something strange rather than a baby yet prophetess Anna and Simeon saw salvation and redemption when they held Him (Luke 2:25-38).
May God give us open eyes to see and discern that we don't miss out on our seasons.
