The Jews had the Torah - so what does the Torah say about the messiah ?
Fact One: The Messiah would arrive in a certain time frame.
Fact Two: The Messiah would come before the destruction of the Second Temple.
Fact Three: The Messiah’s lineage could only be identifiable while the Temple stood.
Fact Four: The Messiah would be cut off.
Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’
Mark 4:22
For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light.
Matthew 10:26 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. MY UNDERSTANDING tells me not to fear ‘them’ lets read ~Matthew 10 to get more of an understanding of what this actually means.
