Every generation has had voices competing for its heart, but no generation has carried so many voices in its pocket. From our phones to our televisions, from podcasts to politics, from influencers to artificial intelligence, we are surrounded by voices shaping what we believe, what we value and who we’re becoming. The question is not whether we are being formed, but which voices are forming us. God’s answer is not to become suspicious of everything or to believe anything that sounds spiritual. He calls His people to become discerning—to test every voice by the truth of His Word, the character of Christ and the fruit produced. In an age overflowing with information, the Church’s greatest need is not more content, but more discernment.
