This Sunday we are opening Psalm 95 and hearing its call to come before the Lord with joyful praise, humble worship, and soft hearts. It reminds us that true worship is more than singing songs - it is gladly listening to God’s voice and trusting him today.

Following Jesus is more about a relationship than rule-following. God isn’t into religion that boasts self-righteous performance while neglecting the needs of others. What he really wants is to be in fellowship with his creation. Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, provides the bridge between heaven and earth to restore us back to a loving relationship with God. He wants our hearts transformed, our heads renewed and our hands redeemed.

This Sunday, we continue thinking about the spiritual battle by turning to Ephesians 6:10–20 and the armour of God. Because Jesus has already won our freedom, we are not called to fight in fear, but to stand firm in his strength, equipped for the battle before us.
