As we continue looking at our model of discipleship we call "DNA", we look again in the gospel of John where Jesus says, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34-35). In the context of loving one another like Christ, disciples of Jesus seek to build relationships built on initiative, truth and grace. This is the "N" in our DNA – what we call "nurturing relationships."
