Discipleship begins with Jesus at his preaching repentance for the kingdom of heaven is now here! Now, not just future, but now. If you are a disciple of Christ, you belong not to this present evil age but to the kingdom age. Jesus Himself inagurated this new age by His life, death, and resurrection, and it was this new kingdom age that was empowerd by the Spirit at Pentecost.
