Introduction – Myths of Spiritual Growth (Rick Warren)

1. Discipleship is to [help others] grow up to see Christ as Lord in all spheres of our lives. (v.14-15)

  The Church helps in the discipleship process by creating various spaces to learn and model this.

2. Spiritual Maturity takes a commitment to form Christian Spiritual Habits. (v.20-24)

  Measurements of Maturity:

  - Knowledge of the Word

  - Learning God’s Perspective

  - Build Deep Biblical Convictions

  - Developing Skills

…All these help us to grow in Christlike Character

The Church helps people to grow and mature in their discipleship through this process.
