It involves a broadunderstanding of the teachings of Jesus as the way of life. Jesus was teaching his disciples how to live, ‘the way'. Across the church's mission, there is action and reaction, leading to three core discipleship values. Discipleship involves new information and learning a new way to live. It is growing through faith and grace, and it is ultimately being shaped into the image of Christ.
