Discipline And Willpower - Why You Might Suck At Both

We have all made commitments to ourselves then later broke those commitments. We end up letting ourselves down which creates shame. We struggle to remain committed to our commitments due to our discipline and will power. We do a lot of damage when we constantly break our commitments.

Remaining committed to our commitments builds our self-esteem. Knowing that you can live up to your commitments and do right by yourself is a powerful feeling. Doing things that are good for you, even when they are hard does wonders for your self-esteem. You are prepared to face any challenges that may come your way because you are used to being outside your comfort zone.

There are three types of discipline; preventative, supportive, and corrective discipline. When making any commitments or challenge, you need to cover all three bases to be successful. Listen in to this episode and learn how to go about it.
