Questions:

In what areas of your son’s life are you holding him accountable? Have you given another man permission to hold you accountable?

Look for times your son gets angry. Discuss with him the possible underlying reasons he reacted in anger. Was he really scared, frustrated, intimidated, hungry, or something else?

What chores have you assigned your son? How is he held accountable to complete them?

If your son is still young, decide before he gets to the appropriate age how you will develop a work ethic in him.
