Dr. Ben Merkle, President of New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, ID
The 4th annual "Keep Your Kids" mini-conference hosted by King's Cross Reformed Church in Austin, TX.
February 9, 2025
Session 1 of 4: "Parenting in the early years can become short-sighted – aiming for results that are easily achieved when the kids are little and easily managed, but failing to set a clear vision for where you are headed in the teenage years (when adjustments are much harder or even impossible to make). So how do you build the foundation early on that will faithfully weather the tumultuous teenage years."
Dr. Ben Merkle is the president of New Saint Andrews College, as well as a Senior Fellow of Theology. He holds a DPhil in Oriental Studies and a handful of other degrees. He is a teaching elder at Christ Church, Moscow, and regularly preaches at their downtown service. Dr. Merkle is the author of The White Horse King and Defending the Trinity in the Reformed Palatinate. He and his wife Rebekah have five children and a growing generation of grandchildren (three so far and one on the way).
