Galen, Zac and Kirian begin their look at Disco Elysium, a 2019 narrative-rpg by Estonian/British developer and artists' collective ZA/UM. Casting the player in the role of destitute, alcholic, super-cop Harry DuBois the game turns the player out to discover a story of ideology, ontology, and deep humanity in the war-torn city of Martinaise. At the risk of over promising, this may be the best game ever written.
