“You need to speak this coming year.” Jesus said.
“I don’t have anything uplifting to say. I am grieving, hurting, healing. I don’t have anything inspiring to share.” I said.
“Then share that.
Share the pain.
Share the sorrow, the grief.
The faith in spite of the failure and the loss. Share that. Speak to my people in the valley from the valley.
Let them know that I am right there with them, in the mess of it all.” He whispered quietly.
And I said yes, in spite of the fear and trepidation.
