Do you feel disconnected from God? Is this a man versus woman feeling? Are men lacking? I think at times we all feel this way. We take on burdens, and then try and shoulder them on our own, without God, inadvertently trying to be "the man."

Is this distance something that men feel stronger than women (in being disconnected from God), or is it just a distance from the church building itself. As we were talking about this episode Mat asked - "How important do you think it is for men to get back involved in the church?" Caring for one another, leaning on each other, praying openly for one another.

He had noticed at his own church, as more people are returning to church right now, the women far outnumber the men. So I looked up the info about involvement in church specifically for men versus women. It turns out that on any given Sunday in America, women outnumber men in church attendance at 61% versus men 39%.
