Francesco Formisano shares how as a man in his 30s discovered the challenge, joy, and rewards of hunting. He was a wildlife photographer and veterinarian who was never involved on hunting until he found the intimacy with wild places and animals and was illuminated by the hunt. He soon realized the benefits of harvesting his own meat which led to a healthier lifestyle. As his life has been changed by hunting, his relationships went from, “Hi, how are you?” to, “When can we get back in the mountains and share a campfire?”
