Th: ในวันที่แดดแรงและท้องฟ้าแจ่มใส สองชายหนึ่งกลุ่มเดินเข้ามาพร้อมกับผู้คนมากมายที่วังหลวงกรุงเทพฯ
En: On a sunny day with a clear sky, three men arrived with many people at the Wang Luang in Bangkok.

Th: เขาคือ สมชาย นก และปรีชา
En: They were Somchai, Nok, and Preecha.

Th: ทั้งสามคนมาตรงกับวันมาฆบูชา เป็นวันที่คนไทยออกมาทำบุญและร่วมกิจกรรมลื่นลาน
En: The three of them arrived on Maka Bucha Day, a day when Thai people go out to make merit and participate in traditional activities.

Th: สมชายเป็นไกด์ท้องถิ่นที่รักประวัติศาสตร์
En: Somchai is a local guide who loves history.

Th: เขาพาเพื่อนต่างชาติสองคนมาที่นี่เพื่อให้ได้สัมผัสความงดงามของวัดพระแก้วและพระบรมมหาราชวัง

En: "Why come to a place like this? It's just a tourist spot," questioned Preecha.

En: Somchai knew that his mission was to make Preecha see the deeper meaning.

En: "Do you know that this building was once the residence of the King?

Th: และทุกถ้วนกรอบตั้งไว้ตามตำราเก่าเกี่ยวกับภูมิศาสตร์และดวงดาว" สมชายเล่า
En: And every frame is set according to ancient textbooks about geography and stars," Somchai narrated.

Th: ปรีชาฟังไปพลาง ลองนึกดู
En: Preecha listened, trying to imagine.
