Perfectly Imperfect

Discussing Grief with Author, Regina Newby

Listen Later

For this first episode, I had the pleasure of speaking with award-winning hairstylist and author, Regina Newby on the topic of grief. In this episode, Regina shares insights she gained after losing her husband to cancer after a 7-year-long battle. What's amazing is that her husband began writing the book, The Face I Made When the Doctor Said I Had Cancer... Again!!!, while he was in the hospital battling cancer. After his death, Regina found the unfinished draft on Jonathan's phone and made it her mission to complete the book in his honor.
