Welcome back to the WeldTec Designs Pod Cast. As we celebrate 20 years being in business it is great to look back with kaiden Johnson91 from @growingupgarage.  We look back on how it all begun with a hobby that turned it into a successful business.  My passion for the desert and a desire to test my skills in off road racing was brewing. In 2001 we built our first race truck, a 1997 Ford Ranger in 7s Class.  So many good times had racing this over the next 3 years in the Ford Ranger. Meanwhile we started construction on a 1600 race car where I would continue desert Racing. Getting burned out on desert racing I decided to build a pre-runner that I could just have fun and play without the expense and stress of racing. We still own the Toyota Tundra and need to get it back out in the desert. All of this racing has led us to build our first van a 1997 Ford E-250 as a support vehicle to our race truck. We still have this van and have some really cool things to come in 2020 with it.
