Christopher Moore is back with another book. It's fine. A mediocre man cracks wise while getting increasingly over his head in trouble. He'll probably be bailed out at the end by supernatural forces of which he is barely aware. Simultaneously he is romancing a much more attractive woman who inexplicably finds him charming. In other words, it's the same as all his other books except this time everyone talks like they're in an old movie.
