Discussion on Shifting The Atmosphere

Listen Later

When we experience a shift in our lives, it often means that something has gone wrong or something resulted from chaos. When we shift our thinking, it is time that we decided to move or act differently than what we’ve done in the past. Our surroundings are important to our position and progress in the world. Also, our belief systems and faith play a large part in preparing and enduring change.

When we feel alone or ostracized, we believe that no one cares; this is not true. So many times, we have seen and witnessed God’s Divine Providence in our lives, yet we may not have known it. God provides so much for each of us, but it’s sometimes subtle or not seen because it was already prepared for you in your future.

It is sometimes necessary to shift our focus or our surroundings to become aligned with the will and purposes of God.

One example in the Bible is a familiar one where God spoke to a man named Abram. He was told to leave the country. He was settled to a place and position to be blessed. Not only was he told that he would be blessed, God also made a covenant with him to bless his offspring. God’s plan for us has great opportunities for elevation and happiness but are we ready to make the change? Are we ready to shift our atmosphere and trust God for our future?

It's scary, and it’s the unknown, but with God, all things are possible. Shifting the Atmosphere means we are making a choice to step outside of our comfort zone to try or allow change for the better. However, we must be willing to trust in the Lord with all of our heart and lean not to our own understanding.

The shift is Good when God is included in the decision-making.
