Welcome to episode 11 of Peri Tales. We are joined by Ūna who Danielle was fortunate to meet while on a Take a Breath retreat for social justice organizers and artists put on by Action Lab in NY. We talk about a range of things related to perimenopause and menopause, and have a good time doing it!

Ūna/윤아 Weiss is a 56yo menopausal, 1.5 generation Korean-American. She lives in East Flatbush, Brooklyn with her partner, 13 yo daughter & returning 23yo son. And when not working in the social justice sphere, she’s helping new families as a postpartum doula. She also has a 21yo daughter in college & a 27yo son in Oakland. Yes, that is 4 children. And because of these 4 children, she is not a doctor but could definitely play one on tv. She enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, cooking Korean food, crocheting, baking and eating & when her body is able, snowboarding. She has recently, since 50, been obsessed with K-beauty products and face yoga. Gravity is not our friend and collagen has ghosted us.
