This podcast reviews an educational board game; ‘The Disease Detectives’, designed and developed by Florian Burckhardt and Esther Kissling, two epidemiologist and EPIET Graduates. The game can be played with 2 – 4 players. Background knowledge of public health or epidemiology is not essential. In fact, by playing the game, you will learn a thing or two about outbreak response.
If you have a background in epidemiology, it will also be fun. The game allows optional game elements, such as knowledge cards, which will test your knowledge and allow you to advance faster to your goal to win the game.
