'DISGUSTING SMEAR': DHS sets the record straight on false NBC report
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has forcefully rejected a controversial NBC News report that alleged ICE agents used a 5-year-old autistic girl as “bait” to arrest her undocumented father in Massachusetts. DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin called the claim a “disgusting smear,” stating unequivocally that ICE agents never used the child in such a manner.
