We Humans are meaning-making machines. And the meaning we have given the pain of our existence has been vital in organizing this chaotic and uncomfortable reality. We pride ourselves, ensconce ourselves, envelope ourselves in the the meaning-making machineries of our arts and culture, of our politics and policies, in the assessment of our intimacies. I would suggest that on this journey, meaning is another landscape of 3 dimensional infrastructure that provides great potential in seeing where we anchor ourselves to this pain-filled, pain driven 3 dimensional reality. Meaning making may be another attachment to, another re-entrenchment in, the density of this 3D existence.
