Disney American Presidents Scrapbook for iPad – Apple TV as an Accessory - iPad365 - iPad App Show [Video]
I am a little bit of a history buff. When I got asked to look at Disney American Presidents iPad app I was interested. I got through all 44 presidents and was pretty impressed with this app.
Disney American Presidents iPad app is a look at all the US presidents. Starting with Washington we learn about what each president did to add to our history. We see certain history lines form such as the Civil war and the formation of the Democratic – Republican parties.
Special commentary by political reporters Mo Rocca, Paul Begala, Wesley Clark, Sam Donaldson, Melissa Harris-Perry, Robert Reich, Jon Meacham and many others.
Disney American Presidents is $3.99 in the app store. It is a larger size iPad app (1.03 GB) because of the video contained. It is also a part of a larger series you can get in interactive DVD (link below for the 1st video)
Disney’s American Presidents: Revolution and the New Nation & Expansion and Reform
Today’s iPad accessory is the Apple TV. You might not think of it as an accessory but I use it as one. When I moved the show upstairs I connected the iPad to an external monitor. Using the cable brought some difficulty; especially if I had to move the iPad around. I switched to the Apple TV and used the Airport capability to send the display to the monitor.
An Apple TV is great for sending presentations or created video to the TV. A few months ago I created an iMovie video that I easily sent over to the HDTV for everyone to watch.
