As we enter the fall season, that also means we enter flu season. Since the beginning of the pandemic, health officials worried that a spike in both coronavirus cases and flu cases would stress hospitals, healthcare workers and resources. Pat Kiernan and Annika Pergament speak with Dr. Brendan Carr, chairman of emergency medicine at Mount Sinai Health System, about why the flu shot is still important—even with social distancing measures in place.
