This morning, I preached at my internship site, Bellevue United Presbyterian Church. Our scripture passages were Isaiah 2:1-5 and Matthew 24:36-44. Today marks the beginning of Advent in the traditional church calendar. This is the time of waiting and preparation for the arrival of Jesus. It's a holy time in our tradition and has a special place in my heart.
