Danielle Webb is the Executive Director and Community Engagement Coordinator for Displaced Roses, an advocacy organization that assists those experiencing homelessness in the greater Gaston County area in North Carolina.
Prior to this work, Danielle had an extensive career in healthcare ranging from pharmacy to behavioral health services. She currently holds licenses as a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) and Nationally Certified Pharmacy Trainer and Technician (CPhT). She is a member of several civic, faith and health groups including NAMI, Autism Speaks, a Housing Authority board member, past county lead and still member of the Continuum of Care NC-GLC 509.
Danielle is a proud mom to her teenage son Jayden, who is pursuing Computer Engineering, Japanese and Linguistics.
Nine years ago, my son and I experienced homelessness by trying to live out the American Dream of purchasing a home. It took over a year to get out of that experience due to the lack of county resources, helping agencies, and NOAHs. For almost 3 years I've worked to assist those experiencing homelessness in the very same county. One year ago, I fully stepped out on faith, left my employment in healthcare and volunteer-lead Displaced Roses full time.
