Post-secondary education is NOT a destination.  If we are going to change our cultural expectations to more accurately fit the reality 18 year olds experience today we need to start small.  This is a small change in thought, but it can be powerful.

Our children deserve a system that teaches them value-adding, real-world skills that increase their chances of being successful when they leave it.
