DISRUPTIVE INNOVATIONS - SANJAY BHARGAVA- EX COUNTRY DIRECTOR- STARLINK Sanjay Bhargava was on the founding team at #paypal and has also been part of CITIBANK for over 18 years and rose up to the rank of Vice President. He joined STARLINK in October as the Country Director India & resigned soon after. Bhargava’s relationship with Elon Musk goes long back. He had previously worked with the Tesla founder on the PayPal founding team. As per Bhargava’s LinkedIn, he is the inventor of ‘random deposit’. He devised an easier and low-cost method for authenticating bank accounts linked to PayPal. Instead of the expensive method of collecting canceled cheques, the firm made a low-value deposit and asked the customer to update the transaction id.
He is currently the Chairman and Founder of Bharosa Club, an investment advisor firm & is working on eliminating poverty through the project " The Global Poverty Elimination Lab".
