A word about a scurrilous unfounded rumor that is going around.  The rumor is that I sued the SCDP for $100.000 dollars.  It is a flat-out lie.  As my grandmother used to say a lie don't care who tells it.  Of course, I did bring a lawsuit against the SCDP AND THE RCDP.  The $100,000 dollars everyone seems to be talking about is the amount the prior leadership has its attorneys out of your donated funds to fight the lawsuit.  The lawsuit does not, I repeat, does not request any monetary damages.  That means that even if I win the party will not pay anything. The lawsuit is on appeal to the South Carolina Court of Appeals.  

So why has the prior party leadership spent over $100,000 dollars to fight a lawsuit that could have been settled in twenty days? There are two reasons: (1) because they don’t want me to examine their books and (2) plain old white arrogance.
