Every thing looks
better from a distance
even though I tooky
the path of least resistance
on this mountain that I climbed
where the air was sweet as wine
and the world looked so sublime.
Far from all of the turmoil
that went on above earth’s soil
as I realized with both my eyes
after one half hour of toil
that this vast, heavenly surprise
had made my blue mood more joyful
and that the further we reach up
the peace we find there is unspoiled.
There are times to be alone
and distance yourself
from the noise
of an ever, restless planet
you reach a point
where you can’t stand it
so find a place and just escape
On a hilltop or an empty cape
and bathe in all the silence
where no one demands
your compliance
find a place where
you can be
baptized in some
perfect peace
perfect peace...
But when it comes
to love, its touch
is so much better
shared close up
all of love’s sweet exhibitions
are better in high definitions
that give your hearts
all that your wishing
her ruby lips that bend to kiss
In 3-D, warm and wet, bring bliss
blown kisses from
a distance miss
because some other
guy might share it
one can never
snuggle close enough
when passion’s fires bid
both of you to blow the lid
off all of your past lonely times
up close and personals divine
so don’t distance yourself anytime
from all the joys that you can find
lost in her arms, bodies entwined
distance and love are not aligned
but the further you reach out to her
the closer you’ll become
until you both succumb to afterglows....
when all your loving ......
all your sweet loving is done....
when all your sweet....loving.....is.....
done !!!
