Given the push towards electrification of the transportation industry, it is only a matter of time before we see utilities, car owners and automakers agree to a protocol for making those EVs available to support the grid.  Additionally, there is more to this development than just supplying watts to the grid.  Utilities seem to be encouraging and even incentivizing the installation of level 2 chargers for what can ultimately be the inclusion of these devices into their generation mix.
