All was set for the District Level Elections (DLEs), scheduled to take place on December 19, 202 even as it was anticipated that the turn out will be low. Director of Electoral Services at the EC, Dr. Sereboe Quarcoo, stated that preparations were done to ensure a successful running of the polls today. Even with these assurances, some place couldn’t vote today due a number of challenges including malfunctioning BVD machines and delay in the deployment of electoral materials. What could have accounted in this relatively small elections getting challenges?
