This is the latest update from November 2023 on the Linux distributions used for Gaming on Linux. The data comes from ProtonDB, which collects individuals' reports on games tested against the latest Proton version. As part of the data collection, hardware and software info is captured, which enables us to produce this graph over time.

About Flatpak: Yes, Flatpak is not a distro, and we are aware. However, it's very close to being a full fledged environment used to run Steam, and it makes sense to include it as it's independent from the distro on which it runs. If you don't like it being there, just ignore it, and the ranking will be the same for the other regular distros.
