Many Christians struggle with the same problems repeatedly because they're fighting spiritual battles with inadequate tools. God has equipped the church with nine powerful spiritual gifts outlined in 1 Corinthians 12, including wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning spirits, tongues, and interpretation. These gifts aren't optional extras but essential tools for effective Christian living. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each believer for everyone's benefit, yet many Christians avoid these gifts due to misunderstanding or past negative experiences. Instead of fighting the devil in our own strength like trying to cut wood with a plastic butter knife, we need to partner with the Holy Spirit and operate in His gifts to experience God's power and victory in our lives.
