This week I found an article highlighting some of the training material that the Federal Government uses for it's Diversity and Inclusion training program. I am all for inclusion and diversity, obviously, right? I mean, I am Mexican. However, as a minority, (almost majority) I do feel a little embarrassed at times at how much effort is being used to include other races or communities while excluding another. Do you ever feel this way? Most of the time the talking points don't feel sincere and the material feels forced.
I also found a heck of an opinion piece on NBC talking about Fat-Phobia in the workplace. The author, Kate, says the 1st of the year is the worst time for people that are overweight.
