Just to name a few-making the dangerous journey through the arduous Himalayas as a nine year old to pursue an education at a Tibetan refugee school, taking care of Covid patients, and losing her father to an unknown disease as a young girl.

Yeshi has received every difficult situation in her life as an opportunity to transcend and exude nothing less than grace, determination, and compassion for herself and all who cross her path.

Miliagros Elia MA, APRN, ANP-BC

Millie Elia is an advanced practice nurse, yoga professional and nurse/patient advocate.

After graduating from NYU she founded "M. Elia Wellness" a private service that offers Consultation on the development of Community Health Programs, and Educational Wellness workshops.

With the onset COVID19 she became aware of the acute distress her nursing colleagues were experiencing.

She began to focus her advocacy work on providing tools and resources to help both frontline staff nurses and senior nursing students on the verge of graduation, better cope with the challenges of COVID19.

This past April she was invited to participate in Rutgers University's School of Nursing self-care webinar series for nurses.

Since then she has co-created a FB page "Nursing Well" with her friend and colleague Gracienne Jean-pierre, dedicated to offering free information and strategies to encourage and empower nurses with strategies to incorporate wellness into their lives and hospitals nursing culture.

Prior to the current pandemic, many people were suffering. Throw in fear, illness, and uncertainty to the mix and you have the perfect storm.

Nurses are at the forefront of this storm. Two of the most healing things to consider to navigate this time are space and creativity. Giving yourself the space to experience the range of your emotions and then giving yourself permission to explore any version of creativity that feels good to you.

Creativity is a beautiful way to connect with the deeper aspects of your BEing. Creativity is an outlet to explore your story and help you discover ways to express it.
