This week, Emily sits down for a special conversation with Barbara Bingham, a seasoned actress whose career has spanned film, television, and corporate acting. But beyond her impressive résumé, Barbara’s journey is one of deep connection and resilience.
Barbara is the aunt of Emily’s late husband Ian Bingham, and after his passing, she felt his guiding presence pushing her toward the next phase of her career. With his spirit as her compass, she embraced new roles as a producer, writer, and actress—ultimately starring in her first full-length film, which she both wrote and produced. She takes us back to the moment she knew acting was her calling, a realization that struck her like lightning on the Hawaii 5-0 set and reflects on decades in the industry.
Join Emily and Barbara for a heartfelt conversation about the enduring nature of our connections, the unexpected ways purpose reveals itself, and how even in the face of loss, we are guided toward our next steps.
