Beyond the Walls with Jeremy Thomas

Divine Institutions - The Basis of a Good Society

Listen Later

In this session, Jeremy covers the basic societal structures that God set up at creation. These are structures that are designed to produce a healthy, vibrant, and productive society, for unfallen people such as Adam and Eve and for fallen beings like us. We may not like to think of work, that is laboring to do something, as a divine task, but it is indeed.  Originally though, there we no inefficiency in labor, no sweat, unlike now. But this changed state doesn't alter the usefulness of need of the institution. Today Jeremy looks at labor, marriage, and family.
