<p>Five years ago, on December 27, 2016, Juan and two beachgoers saved 3 teenagers from drowning in the ocean on Miami Beach. Those two helpful beachgoers were never seen again (angels, perhaps?). Juan was honored by the Miami Beach Police Department for his heroic actions in a lovely ceremony where he received the MBPD unit coin which they said is traditionally reserved for police officers. 🚔 🪙</p>
