Text: Genesis 24:14-15

  • Everything is about timing. Divine positioning.
  • May God give us the spirit of discernment to position ourselves in a place where God wants to bless us.
  • Sometimes the opportunity is right in front of us but we miss it.


    • Text: Acts 1: 23-26

    • Matthias was with Jesus throughout His Ministry. His name was never mentioned till it was the right time for him to replace Judas.
    • You are the missing piece to the puzzle.
    • Is your heart pure for God to use you to occupy a space before your appointment comes.
    • If you know what God has said, if you can hear the voice of God, you will know when to move, when to stop … etc.
    • It’s not about you but God. We are always seeking our comfort. Repent
    • We say we trust God, but do we indeed do? We always want to have a backup plan before we surrender our all to God.
    • Let’s work on our hearts so when the right opportunity comes, we won’t miss it.

      • We need to find and have a relationship with God.

      • Pray always
      • Exercise patients. Matthias was in the same space for 3 years. His heart was pure, he followed after the Kingdom of God and it’s righteousness.
      • Let us strive for purity. Matt. 5:8; blessed are the pure in heart. For they shall see God.


        • To conclude - where you are determines what you receive at each point in time.
