an easter special!!! I've heard christianty is cool all the sudden! as a former christian and current spiritually-focused, jesus-loving, history-and-truth-seeking person, I wanted to share some perspectives to look out for as many of us seek out god, truth, and all-powerful loving perspectives to remedy all of the pain and struggles each of us face. 

Please note, my experience within christianity has been layered, complex, and full of pain. While parts of this may sound bitter or intense, i want to make it clear i am always excited and hope-filled when i hear about people pursuing faith, spirituality, and god. My intention with this episode is to encourage responsibility, love, accountability within the faith systems we are being encouraged to explore in our current societal structures,  and to encourage my neighbors to be thoughtful and think critically as we all look for god.

a world full of slut shaming and hating hoes... where do we go from here? separating ourselves from whoreish-ness seems like a necessity a lot of the time, for our safety, dignity, and respectability to be maintained. but perhaps putting distance between ourselves and perceived whoreish-ness isn't helping anyone... not even ourselves. perhaps hoes deserve love and respect, and perhaps whoreish-ness offers something that the world deeply needs and craves. perhaps reconnecting to our sensuality, sexuality, and the strength and liberation that lies in between is not something that needs to be punished, ostracized, repressed, or marginalized. perhaps perhaps perhaps... please join me in my initial compiled thoughts regarding the nuance and harms to slut/whore shaming tied to the ongoing normalization of recreational pole dancing tied to traditional understandings of binary gendered expectations. many more thoughts to come. this episode was recorded in February 2025, and i am excited to continue discussions in the near future of how my thoughts continue to evolve since then.

why do we feel anxious as humans? and/or how do we navigate anxiety? where does it come from, and where do we go from here? how do we "get rid of," lessen, or manage anxiety? ride this wave of thought with me as I explore humans' experiences with anxiety throughout time, recent discussions surrounding mental health, the entanglement of social media and addiction, human connection, and how we can better care for one another. i hope this conversation supports us in making changes that could perhaps support reducing anxiety within ourselves... and beyond!!! :)
